Search through your recordings

As you use Dubber Connect more often you will start to see an increase in the number of recordings you have in your account. Below we have a number of function that will help you search through your recordings.

Filter Icons

To make it easier to find a recording, there is the filter icon bar at the top of the page where you can use the following filter options:

When you click on each item, it will sort out your recording by that icon. So for example, if you filtered your recordings by the tagged icon, all your recordings that have been tagged will only appear.

Dubber AI

One of the features of Dubber AI is the ability to transcribe the recording. The AI of Dubber AI listens to the call and logs all the words that have been spoken. Dubber AI has a lexicon dictionary, so any spoken word which matches the dictionary is 'tagged'. 

Dubber AI is an optional service which can be turned on/off. You will need to request this to our support team. Please click here to send a request.

Any recordings that have used Dubber AI, will have a book icon next to the recording as you can see in the above image.

When you click on the icon you will be taken to a breakdown of the recording.

Dubber AI will transcribe everything on the recording

Against each word is a time stamp of when the word was mentioned in the call.

The time stamp is a link. When clicking on this link, it will take you to the time the word was mentioned in the recording.

Smart Search

There may be a point after capturing so many recordings you go beyond 15 pages on the portal and you may worry that you will have to search through so many pages to find a specific recording. This is not the case, to make the search for recordings easier, we have a tool called Smart Search.

Using Smart Search you can look for recording within a date range or a specific date. You can also look for a recording that has a certain word in the recording (or has been tagged)

The Smart Search can be used as soon as you log into your account. On the recording page, you should be able to see the search bar.

If you click on the icon within the search bar a drop down menu will appear like the image below.

This is where the fun begins!

From here you can search through your recordings using extra criteria's not just the filter functions at the top of the page.

You can use the query field to search for a specific word within your recording library.

For example, if you wanted to check all the recordings that had "test" involved in it, you would enter that word and click search.

This would then bring up all recordings that had the word "test" involved.

You can drill this down even further by including a date range within this search as well as a specific time within that date.

In the date field, you have a number of options of what dates you would like to add, as soon as you click in that space a drop-down menu will appear. 

If you would like to look for a recording within a specific time you will need to click custom and then unclick the box that says show all day.

Doing this will bring up the option to select a time frame you would like to search in. Once you are happy click on apply.
