So when you are setting up a dub.point for a user you will notice you have a number of different product choices available.
Here is a general overview of each product. If you would like a more comprehensive list, you will need to speak with your service provider.
Reserved
This is the standard call recording for Dubber. The calls are automatically recorded and loaded onto the platform (based on the agreement you have with your service provided). The recordings are secure and can be retrieved quickly. This is what you would imagine call recording to be, a phone call is made to you and it is then recorded.
On Demand
This is an on-demand version of call recording, the calls are only recorded by the request of the user receiving the call. It can be activated by simply pressing a key on the telephone keypad. This product is for those that need call recording on an ad-hoc basis, maybe a small business. The users would be charged per month and per call should they decide the use this option.
Playback
Playback is pay as you go for individuals. This user will be charged for each call they decide to keep. Dubber playback is done via the playback app (IOS & Andriod). Each user of the app has the option to keep the recording for 12 months. How it works, it that a call is made and completed via the app, they will receive a notification (remember to add push notifications!) asking them if they would like to keep/delete the call. This will be valid for only 3 days. If the individual would like to keep the call, it will be stored for them in their own dubber portal. In this portal, you can play, tag and add notes to your own personal recordings.
