An Application Programming Interface (API) is a set of functions and procedures that allows applications to access the features or data of an operating system or another application. Dubber Connect has an API at its core with a RESTful (Representational State Transfer) structure to allow for interoperability between existing business systems and other cloud services. A RESTful API breaks down data transactions into small modules, providing developers with flexibility and potential for creative custom developments and integrations.
Unlike legacy call recording, which might provide a configurable API to allow users some functionality, Dubber Connect’s API is deployed as a product, meaning that it is available to any user without the need for additional hardware or software. A user’s data can be accessed directly by them to facilitate easy interaction.
